🚔 Incident Update – E-bike Collision 🚔

On 25th April, officers responded to a road traffic collision involving a youth riding an e-bike and a vehicle.

Following enquiries, our officers were able to identify and trace the e-bike to a local address. We have since spoken with the young person involved and their parents, who have engaged positively with us.

The e-bike has now been voluntarily surrendered to police.

We would like to remind parents and guardians of the importance of being aware of the type of bikes their children are using and ensuring they are being ridden lawfully and safely. E-bikes can pose serious risks if used improperly.

We will continue to take action where necessary to keep our communities safe.
